Founded 20 years after Armenia's independence (1991 - 2011)

Hayasa student association was founded by the signatures of 14 entusiastic Armenian students and alumni on 21 September 2011. On this symbolic day Armenia was celebrating the 20th anniversary of independence; we have decided to start our long way on this exact day meaning our close relations with our motherland. Structure

Following our constitution

Current constitution of Hayasa was agreed by all the members on 24 February 2012. According to it Hayasa constitutes from three parts: regular members, student council and executive board. The activities and events of the union are first planned in working groups lead by the group leaders, while working groups are coordinated by the president. Every member of the union can find his specific place in working groups (including take the position of working group leader)

Student council - is responsible to lead Hayasa towards its goals and follow the constitution. Council is also making the decisions on the group strategy the by taking into account the opinion of all the student members. Members of council are also responsible to form managing body.

Executive board - is responsible for union's daily functionality and works towards the realization of the group's strategy. Executive board constitutes of the president, secretary, treasurer and working group leaders.

Tigran Baghdasaryan

Tigran was born in Yerevan. He received his bachelor diploma in physics from the Yerevan State University. In 2010 he graduated from the Erasmus Mundus Master in Photonics program. Since September 2010, he has been working towards the Ph.D. at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

Ani was born in Yerevan. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Communication sciences from the the Université libre de Bruxelles. She is currently in her Master's Degree in Journalism here.

Mariam Aghasaryan

Mariam was born in Yerevan.  She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a specialization in Mental Health (psychosocial work in mental health) from Haute Ecole de la Communauté française Paul-Henri Spaak.

Anna was born in Gyumri. In 2011 she received her master diploma in business management from the Hogeschool Universiteit Brussel (HUB). Since September 2011, she has been working in Ixina as sales assistant.

Tatevik Galstyan

Tatevik was born in Yerevan. She received bachelor diploma of translator from the Yerevan State Linguistic University after V. Brusov. Since 2010 she is studying at Hogeschool Gent in postgraduate program Dutch&Translation.
